There are more jobs than ever before in Dublin and plenty of employment opportunities for those who can speak a little English. Our English and Job Search course helps you develop your English language skills in order to find a job, produce a quality CV, practice your job interview skills in English, and contact employers and job agencies in the area.
The course is for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Students spend their mornings attending our General English (full-time) course in order to improve general English skills. This takes place Monday-Friday 09:20-13:00 with a short break for tea/coffee/soft drinks at 11am.
Students then spend 3 hours of private classes each week (over 1 or 2 afternoons) with a private teacher/adviser who:
- helps the student identify suitable & desirable types of job - assists in developing and writing a CV in English for the job search
- develops and practices the students interview skills in English - provides information on where and how to begin searching for a job in Dublin
This course takes place all year round here at our school in Dublin, Ireland - so you can begin anytime!
The course is for students with intermediate - advanced levels of English and students are given a level test to ensure they are in the right class for their level.
Group class sizes are restricted to a maximum of 10 students per class so that students get full teacher attention and maximum of opportunity to practise speaking English with the teacher and other students. The average class size during the year is often only 5/6.
Students receive an end-of-course certificate of attendance stating the level of English achieved and the number of hours attended on their course.
All students on our General English course are welcome to full use of all our facilities .. library, videos etc. See our English Language Student Facilities section.
There is no course registration fee or course booking fee.
