  • What our students say:
"My teacher is a very good teacher. I mean she really has helped us in understanding English. And she really knows how to relate to students from different nationalities. So I say she's excellent at teaching English. I sure had a wonderful experience in the DLTC" - Adrian, Philippines

    Why study at the DLTC?

Genuinely small group sizes (7/8 students per class average) * Speaking-focused * Great value ...

    • Speaking-focused - the DLTC puts special emphasis on getting students to speak English successfully. We believe that you can answer grammar questions at home but that you don't know a language until you can speak it. For this reason we give up to 50% of our general English class time to speaking and conversation practice - about topics that matter to you. The other 50% of class time is devoted to grammar topics, reading and writing. The content of private English courses may differ.

    • Small Classes - To ensure students get good teacher attention and every opportunity to practise their speaking, class sizes are kept small. The sizes may vary but in general there are no more than 11 people in an English class and the average during the year is about 7/8 students per class.

    • Great Value! By offering our English courses directly over the internet, we can offer our top-quality courses in to you at a lower price than most schools in Dublin or Ireland.

    • We're great at what we do! At the end of every course we ask our students to tell us what they thought - look at what they say about us in our Students Comments section and on our Facebook group DLTC Language School

    • FREE Social and Extra activities - All our English language students are invited to a free weekly event. On Tuesday afternoons, you can meet the director or one of the teachers of the school who will give you a free lecture about Ireland, its history, its people, its culture, its society, its music and art - a great way to learn about Ireland, ask questions and improve your conversational English. Every second Tuesday, we arrange for a free guided walk to a place of interest or in the beautiful Irish countryside. All students are invited to Friday midday coffee with our teachers at a local bar or cafĂ© so that they can practice their English in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. f you are on Facebook, see some photos of our walks and join our group: DLTC Language School Photos on Facebook.
