Why study at the DLTC?
Genuinely small group sizes (7/8 students per class average) * Speaking-focused * Great value ...
Speaking-focused - the DLTC puts special emphasis on getting students to speak English successfully. We believe that you can answer grammar questions at home but that you don't know a language until you can speak it. For this reason we give up to 50% of our general English class time to speaking and conversation practice - about topics that matter to you. The other 50% of class time is devoted to grammar topics, reading and writing. The content of private English courses may differ.
Small Classes - To ensure students get good teacher attention and every opportunity to practise their speaking, class sizes are kept small. The sizes may vary but in general there are no more than 11 people in an English class and the average during the year is about 7/8 students per class.
Great Value! By offering our English courses directly over the internet, we can offer our top-quality courses in to you at a lower price than most schools in Dublin or Ireland.
We're great at what we do! At the end of every course we ask our students to tell us what they thought - look at what they say about us in our Students Comments section and on our Facebook group DLTC Language School

Various levels English courses are available at levels from Elementary to Advanced. Students complete an English level test either before they arrive or on the first day to determine their level so that we can place them in an appropriate class.
Student progress is continually monitored by teachers to make sure that students are progressing - changes to levels can be made as students progress.
Tea, coffee, and cold drinks are available to students during breaks.
All our language teachers are well experienced and qualified to Department of Education & Science required standards, as well as having years of experience teaching English as a foreign language both in Ireland and abroad. So whether you want to improve your general English or prepare for Cambridge English exams such as the First Certificate, CAE or IELTS, we have the experience to help you succeed.
