The DLTC Foreign Language School offers a selection of foreign language courses in Dublin for adults. We also run Spanish language courses during the summer months for 12-17 year olds.
Why study Spanish and Italian at the DLTC Language School?
Genuinely small class sizes (average 8 students per class) ** qualified native teachers ** hour-for-hour best value prices in Dublin ** Beside Dun Laoghaire DART station (20 minutes from Dublin city centre)
The DLTC are specialists in the language field and have foreign language evening courses available all year round.
We are one of the main providers of Spanish and Italian courses in Dublin with over 30 courses at various levels available throughout the year; however we also provide classes in other modern languages such as French, German, Chinese and others.
Our courses place great emphasis on 'spoken language'. In our experience, the greatest difficulty that many students have in learning a foreign language is mastering the ability to 'speak' the language as opposed to read, write or understand the grammar. In addition many students simply wish to learn enough of a language to be able to communicate in everyday situations while traveling or on holiday. For these reasons, the main emphasis of our group courses is on getting students to speak a language successfully and students are encouraged to speak as much as possible within the class.
In order to allow students the opportunity to speak and to ensure maximum teacher attention, we restrict the sizes of the classes with an average of between 7 to 10 students per class (maximum of 11 students).
All our teachers are qualified, highly experienced and native speakers.
Free assessment test - if you are unsure of your level of ability in the language you wish to improve, our teachers will freely assess you and advise you on which course/level you should take.
The school offers some facilities to our foreign language students including: free level test or assessment; tea, coffee, soft-drinks during breaks; advice on all aspects of language-learning.
Individual tuition - We can also provide individual tuition in certain other languages on request. So if we haven't listed the subjects your looking for, please contact us and we'll be happy to help you.
The DLTC can also offer advice on studying foreign languages abroad with particular links to Spain, Italy, and Mexico.
